Setting Up Meta Cloud WhatsApp API for Booking Reminders
Learn how to register a phone number on Meta Developer Portal, verify your business parameters, and connect WhatsApp to Rozx.
Step 1
Create Meta Developer Account: Go to developer.facebook.com, register as a Meta Developer, and set up a new Business Application.
Step 2
Add WhatsApp Product: Go to your app dashboard, click 'Add Product', select 'WhatsApp', and link it to your Meta Business Account.
Step 3
Register verified Phone Number: Add a telephone number that does not have an active consumer WhatsApp app. Verify it via SMS/Voice call OTP.
Step 4
Retrieve API Credentials: Copy your Temporary Access Token, Phone Number ID, and WhatsApp Business Account ID.
Step 5
Connect API in Rozx Dashboard: In Rozx, go to Settings -> Integrations -> WhatsApp Cloud API, paste the API credentials, and click 'Verify Connection'.
Step 6
Submit Message Templates for Approval: Create message template structures (booking alerts, reminders, win-backs) and submit them to Meta. Review times average 2 hours.
